October Show Sketched In

My alter ego James Barnett will be having a show at 66Balmy in October, around Halloween; a series of paintings of the video game Half-Life 2. Previews and such to come as updates warrant.

Don't ever get a new video card, kids, or this could happen to you.

Why I Haven't Written, or Slept

July 4th weekend, I got a free 21-day trial of City of Heroes after reading a series of very funny in-game diaries by Scott Sharkey at 1up.com.

Everything else went to hell.

But I made these characters:

(La Reina did most of Maalox. I got a little carried away once I figured out tighty whiteys.)

I can't say I recommend the game if you have anything you ever need to get done, but I'm having a lot of fun. I'm mostly on as Miner 49er or Kittensmasher, on the Virtue server.
